These drawings were created as an attempt to constructively use the time in which I try to fall asleep, often unsuccessfully, due to excessive brain activity.
By drawing my immediate surroundings, I hope to get tired and finally fall asleep. Paper after paper, drawing after drawing…over time the environment begins to immerse with unarticulated doodles. The result is a series of multi-layered drawings, a visual research of the process of falling asleep and the accompanying unusual feelings that one experiences during that process (brain zaps, feelings of dropping or falling, anxiety, panic)…
