Winter Collection examines the shifting perceptions of artistic value by juxtaposing traditional “prestigious” materials with ephemeral techniques. Large canvases combine oil painting with digitally printed swatches, blending the language of fine art with mass-produced design. Meanwhile, smaller works originate as hand-painted watercolors, later processed through AI to generate wallpaper-like patterns, further questioning the line between artistic authorship and algorithmic replication. By examining art as decoration versus intellectual engagement, Winter Collection critiques societal perceptions of artistic value. The series blurs the boundaries between profound reflection and ornamental appeal, inviting deeper contemplation of art’s purpose. Beneath its playful surface lies a critique of contemporary attitudes toward artistic labor, originality, and the commodification of visual culture.
